The New York State Fair will have an additional day starting in 2017, going from 12 days to 13. The Fair will now begin on Wednesday instead of Thursday; officials say it’s possible some rides may not be running on that first day because of ride inspections, but otherwise the normal Fair amenities that people flock to Central New York to enjoy each year will be up and running.
