If Waterloo comprehensive plan passes, zoning review to follow

One of the recommendations in the town’s new comprehensive plan is to review the zoning code for possible updates.

The Town Board is scheduled to formally adopt the comprehensive plan Monday night. If they do, a motion establishing a committee to review the current zoning laws is expected to follow.

The proposed committee of Supervisor Gary Westfall, Town Assessor and Code Enforcement Officer James Cleere, Planning Board chairman Robert Dwello and Zoning Board of Appeals chairman Carl Altimari would be tasked with analyzing zoning regulations so that they may “interface” with the comprehensive plan.
