Deputies in Ontario County arrested a Geneva man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Joshua R. Brewerton, 29, of Geneva was arrested after deputies say they were able to get him to exit his residence and surrender his weapon. Deputies say that when they arrived, he was inside his residence with a shotgun. Ultimately, the deputies on scene were able to communicate with Brewerton to allow him to be taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, as well as second-degree menacing. He is being held at the Ontario County Jail and will answer the charges in Geneva Town Court.
