Syracuse suffers another blowout loss on the road to Notre Dame

Tyler Lydon dominated the court offensively and defensively and led the Orange with a double-double, but Syracuse came up short on the road at #15 Notre Dame, 84-66, on Saturday afternoon at the Joyce Center. Syracuse is now 11-9 overall and 3-4 in Atlantic Coast Conference play, while the Fighting Irish advanced to 17-3 and 6-1 in the ACC.

Lydon led a trio of double-digit scorers for the Orange with 24 points and a team-leading 10 rebounds to complete the double-double, his fifth of the season.

In his fifth-straight double-digit point game, freshman Tyus Battle tallied 17 points and three boards, while Andrew White III was in double digits for the 19th time this season with 16 points. White III has tallied double-digit numbers in 19-of-20 outings. Read more from Cuse.com
