David West Nytch’s relocation to Auburn has been a long time coming. Making the move from Webster, New York, West and his business, West & Co. Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, have settled into 10 Genesee St. on the ground level of the former Auburn Floors building. The jewelry store, which offers custom and designer jewelry, officially opened on Black Friday.
Once vacant and decrepit, the former Auburn Floors and the adjoining 14 Genesee St., colloquially known as the Piccirillo building, stand resurrected after they were redeveloped into upscale apartments upstairs and commercial spaces on the lower floor.
