Cayuga County Administrator Suzanne Sinclair is departing her job, county Legislature Chairman Keith Batman said Wednesday. Batman said he could not comment on specifics like whether she initiated the decision to leave, or when that will happen, because she and the county are still in negotiations. He did say, however, that Sinclair is still serving as county administrator for now, and she will be leaving on positive terms.
“Neither of us are departing under a cloud,” Batman said. “The process is amicable.” Sinclair declined to comment on Wednesday. She was scheduled to make a $95,000 salary in 2017, according to the county budget.
