The top teams in the Finger Lakes East and Wayne County all posted impressive wins on Tuesday night in boys varsity action. In the East, Newark used a big 3rd quarter to pull away at Geneva, Mynderse bounced back from their first loss with a win at home against Midlakes, and Wayne looked dominant in a 46-point road victory at Waterloo. Meanwhile in Wayne County, league-leaders Clyde-Savannah topped North Rose-Wolcott, East Rochester kept pace with a win at Marion, and Gananda won the fourth straight defeating Sodus.
In girls action, Bloomfield’s Braelin Scott pulled down 25 rebounds in the Lady Bombers win over HAC (25 is the most for any W-FL boys or girls player this season) and the South Seneca Lady Falcons rolled past Naples ahead of their showdown with rival Romulus on Thursday.
Full results for the boys and the girls in action on Tuesday night, the upcoming schedule and more below…
