Deputies: Contractor failed to do work promised to Waterloo resident

On January 13th at approximately 3:30 pm deputies in Seneca County arrested a Seneca Falls man for grand larceny after allegedly taking money for a contracting job, which was never completed.

Deputies say that Brian E. Wise, 49, of Seneca Falls was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. The charge stems from an incident where he allegedly took payment for a job from a resident in Waterloo in August 2016.

That job was never completed. The amount of money that was given to Wise to complete the job was $2,450. He was arraigned in Waterloo Town Court and remanded to the Seneca County Jail without bail.

He was scheduled to answer the charge in Waterloo Town Court on Wednesday.
