Cayuga Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for missing teen believed to be in Auburn

Sheriff David Gould reports that the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office along with the Cayuga County Department of Social Services is attempting to locate the following juvenile who absconded from the Elmcrest Children’s Center in Syracuse on January 8th.

She is believed to be back in the Auburn area, possibly near family on Wall Street. Cayuga County Family Court has issued a bench warrant for her.

The missing child is identified as Ashley Mantilla — a 16-year-old with brown hair and eyes. She is said to be roughly 135 pounds, with a flower tattoo on her left shoulder.
