Syracuse turned the ball over 11 times to their opponent’s 6 as Virginia Tech defeated the Orange 83-73 inside Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Virginia on Tuesday night. The Hokie’s Zach LeDay shot 9-13 from the field to lead all scorers with 22 points. The Orange had four players hit double-digits and were led by freshman Taurean Thompson with 18. Syracuse falls to 10-7 on the season and 2-2 in ACC play. They’ll be back on the court again on Saturday to face Boston College at 4:00 pm at the Carrier Dome.
