Police in Yates County say they arrested a Penn Yan man after a property damage accident on Elm Street.
The Penn Yan Police Department reports that Jason R. Harris, 38, of Penn Yan was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, driving while intoxicated, as well as aggravated driving while intoxicated following a property damage accident that happened on Elm Street.
Harris is accused of attempting to pull into a private driveway — colliding with a building on the property, causing damage to the siding of the building.
He was released on traffic tickets and will answer the charges at a later date in Penn Yan Village Court.
