On Sunday around 1:16 am deputies arrested a Canandaigua man after he attempted to flee police by speeding on State Route 5 near Freshour Road in Hopewell.
Nicholas R. Bice, 20, of Canandaigua was arrested after he attempted to evade police and pulled into a driveway. When deputies found Bice, he was found to be in possession of marijuana and alcohol. The investigation concluded that Bice was impaired by alcohol and marijuana. He was subsequently transported to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office where a Drug Recognition Expert performed an evaluation.
He was processed and released to appear in Hopewell Town Court.
