The Newark Reds varsity girls basketball team defeated the Waterloo Indians 60-38 on Friday night in Newark. The Lady Reds held a commanding 32-11 halftime lead and never looked back. Newark power forward Ladonia Smith scored a game high 20 points and hauled down 15 rebounds for the Lady Reds. Megan Macaulay added eight points for the Reds.
