A 58-year-old Ithaca man died Dec. 29 from a wave in Vero Beach, Fla. that broke his neck, according to an autopsy. Stanley Quinn, a BorgWarner senior staff engineer in the Advanced Engineering Group, was on vacation with his family when he was struck by the wave on Dec. 28, according to Treasure Coast Newspapers.
