Auburn woman arrested in Seneca Falls after failling to stop for police

On Sunday at 2:17 pm the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Amanda A. Evans, 27, of Auburn following a traffic stop on Chapel Street.

Evans vehicle was observed failing to stop at a stop sign, when the officer attempted to stop Evans she failed to do so. She then ran three additional stop signs before eventually pulling into a driveway.

She provided her information and it returned that Evans had a suspended license. Evans was charged with four counts of failing to stop at a stop sign, reckless driving and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

She was processed and arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court. Evans was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash or $1000 bond. She is scheduled to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on January 12th at 5:00 pm.
