A Canandaigua man was charged with driving while intoxicated, as well as aggravated driving while intoxicated after police say he nearly struck a marked patrol car on New Year’s Day around 1:25 am.
Officers arrested Robert Odell, 47, of Canandaigua after he allegedly crossed the center line and nearly struck a marked patrol car that was traveling the opposite direction. After his vehicle was stopped — police say he was found to be intoxicated.
He was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, and aggravated driving while intoxicated after he was found to have a blood-alcohol content of .26.
He will answer the charges in Canandaigua City Court at a later date.
