Waterloo man charged with AUO after multiple suspensions, conviction

Deputies in Ontario County say a Waterloo man was arrested early-Saturday morning after a traffic stop revealed that he had his license suspended four times.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that David W. Lewin, 49, of Waterloo was arrested around 1:41 am on Saturday and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. During a traffic stop it was discovered that his license had been suspended four times and that he had a previous conviction for third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation in the last 18 months.

He was issued several traffic tickets and transported to the Ontario County Jail to be held on pre-arraignment detention.

Lewin will answer the charges in Farmington Town Court.
