The Seneca Falls Police Department reports that on Saturday around 4:47 am officers arrested a Seneca Falls man after he allegedly attacked a local resident while displaying a knife.
Officers say that Neil M. Moyer, 41, of Seneca Falls was charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Moyer is accused of physically attacking a resident while displaying a knife and threatening to injure them. The event occurred in the presence of a child, and the victim suffered a cut to his hand as result of the incident.
Moyer was arrested and arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $1,000 bond.
He will reappear in Seneca Falls Town Court to answer the charges on January 12th. An order of protection was issued protecting the victim.
