On the last day of the year, Dr. Tim Ryan will take off his stethoscope and retire after 37 years as a primary care family physician. On December 31st, Ryan, founder of Lifecare Medical Associates, will wrap things up after 45 years of medical training and practicing medicine.
In a letter to his patients, Ryan reflected on his career and friendships he has made through the years. “It is difficult to say good-bye to your profession after 45 years,” he wrote. “However, I am blessed to have you, my patients, as friends forever. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had much time to think about it.”
