A local man charged with forging signatures on the nominating petitions of Yates County Judge candidate Valerie Gardner rejected a plea offer Thursday. Instead, the case of Patrick J. Galvin, 55, will go to a county grand jury.
Galvin is charged with two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument, a class D felony. A former member of the Village Board and Yates County Legislature, Galvin worked for the Yates County Republican Committee earlier this year.
