Waterloo board OKs supply agreements to help get village water to del Lago

The Town Board voted 4-0 Monday to sign amended water-supply agreements with the village of Waterloo and the town of Junius.

The agreements call for the village to provide the town up to 1.06 million gallons of water per day for 40 years. The water would be sold to del Lago Resort & Casino in Tyre.

The agreement with Junius would allow the town to provide up to 500,000 gallons of water per day to Junius. Junius would pass it on to the town of Tyre to serve the casino project.
