Local and state officials last week marked the opening of the new McAlpin Industries manufacturing plant on Route 441 in this Wayne County town.
Among those attending were Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul.
The family-owned metalworking company also will continue its operations in Rochester, where it has been headquartered for more than 50 years and employs 148 workers. The new, 120,000-square-foot manufacturing plant and warehousing facility will allow the company to create at least 24 new full-time jobs.
