On Monday around 10:50 pm deputies in Ontario County arrested a Canandaigua woman on Main Street in Canandaigua for felony driving while ability impaired by drugs following a traffic stop.
Paula J. Triplett, 50, of Canandaigua was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and was issued a citation for failure to keep right, failure to maintain lane, and no turn signal.
Deputies say that when they completed the routine traffic stop Triplett had crossed over the double solid yellow lines, failed to signal lane changes, and failed to maintain one lane of traffic leading up to the stop.
They suspected that she was under the influence of drugs, and after completing a series of standard field sobriety tests, which showed significant signs of impairment by drugs — she was transported to the Ontario County Jail where she was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
All of the charges will be answered at a later date.
