The next couple of weeks promise to be an emotional roller coaster for incoming state Sen. Pam Helming. Before she is sworn in to succeed retiring state Sen. Michael Nozzolio as the 54th Senate District’s representative in Albany, Helming is wrapping up the final days of her tenure as Canandaigua town supervisor.
Helming said she has mixed emotions about the experience. While she’s excited to take the reins from Nozzolio, she’ll miss her dealings with fellow town officials.
