Cayuga County's labor market continues to show signs of strength, with November job counts higher and the unemployment rate lower.
New data from the state Department of Labor showed the Cayuga County November jobless rate was 4.5 percent, down from 4.9 percent in the same month of 2015. The county rate was just above the 4.4 percent national rate, but below the 4.7 percent statewide rate. Those figures were not adjusted for seasonal fluctuations.
