Investigators are still looking into what caused a fire in the administration building of a local boarding school two weeks ago, fire officials said Sunday. Union Springs Academy students and staff have adjusted after the Dec. 3 blaze made the structure uninhabitable without repairs. The administration building houses classrooms, offices and the gymnasium.
The academy, at 40 Spring St., is a Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school with 48 students. Following the fire, classes were moved to the on-campus Seventh-day Adventist Church.
