New York State Police say a 29-year-old Palmyra man was arrested after he allegedly tried to have sex with a 12-year-old.
Troopers say that Adam Sullivan, 29, of Palmyra was charged with attempted criminal sexual act, attempted use of a child in a sexual performance and attempted disseminating indecent material to minors. Troopers say they intervened before he had sexual contact with the child.
He was taken into custody and arraigned on $5,000 cash bail. The arrest took place in Farmington, and Sullivan was taken into custody without incident.
