One person suffered head injuries and was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua after an accident, which deputies say took place on State Route 5&20.
On Thursday at approximately 1:38 pm deputies were called to Route 5&20 at Cannan Road for the report of a three car crash. A vehicle being operated by Cheri Caulkins, 37, of Geneva was headed north from Cannan Road and drove into the path of a vehicle, which was westbound on 5&20. Ronald Legler, the operator of that vehicle steered right to avoid the accident and collided with another car, which was waiting to turn from Cannan Road.
Deputies say that Robert Denoome was operating that third vehicle, and suffered an injury to his head. He was transported to Thompson Hospital for treatment. Caulkins was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way and will answer that charge at a later date.
No other individuals were injured in the accident, according to deputies.
