The majority of Tuesday’s small voter turnout approved the Bridgeport Fire District’s desire to buy a new ladder truck. The $1.05 million vehicle will replace a 1999 E-One Hurricane 95-foot platform vehicle. The purchase was approved by a 67-20 vote.
