A 41-year-old Canandaigua woman has been arrested on multiple charges after she allegedly threatened a 71-year-old disabled person.
The Canandaigua Police Department reports that Elisabeth Genter, 41, of Canandaigua was arrested for first-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person, as well as second-degree menacing.
Genter is accused of threatening a 71-year-old disabled person, who was in her care with a knife and later grabbing the victim by the neck.
She was arraigned in Canandaigua City Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 secured bond.
