Penn Yan police say a Keuka Park resident was arrested on December 6th after an incident in the village.
Michell L. Downs, 41, of Keuka Park was arrested for second-degree criminal contempt after she admitted to violating an order of protection by entering St. Marks Terrace, the residence of the protected party.
Downs then went across the street and advised a Chapel Street resident that she wanted the police to be called.
Downs was arrested and arraigned in Penn Yan Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 secured bond.
