A 65-year-old Marion woman has been charged with stealing more than $70,000 from her employer over the course of months.
Michelle Hollingsworth, 65, of Marion was employed at Lor-Co, Inc. during a period from April until November this year. In all, police say she stole $71,726 from the company.
State Police even say that Hollingsworth was seen 21 times cashing forged checks at a local bank, which was located in Palmyra.
She was charged with 21 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, as well as second-degree grand larceny. All charges against her are felonies, according to police.
She was released after arraignment and will answer the charges in January.
