One charged with DWI after running stop sign in Ovid

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on December 7th at 11:43 pm deputies arrested Kailani A. Dresser, 27, of Interlaken for driving while intoxicated.

The arrest stems from a traffic stop that occurred around 11:20 pm on State Route 96 in the Town of Ovid after a deputy observed the vehicle run a stop sign. Further investigation revealed that Dresser was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Dresser was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign. She was released on appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
