Auburn’s parking garage on Lincoln Street has nearly 400 parking spots, yet it’s only half-full — or less — on an average day, according to city officials.
Local lawmakers will meet Thursday to consider a proposal designed to drive more traffic into the garage. A plan by the Auburn Downtown Business Improvement District would make hourly parking rates at the garage, at 1 Lincoln St., cheaper than on-street parking.
