City Council on Wednesday will once again take up a controversial proposal to sell a piece of city-owned land adjacent to Seneca Lake Park.
Under the proposal, the city would sell seven acres off Routes 5&20 in Waterloo to Bunnell Associates, owned by Dave Bunnell, for a seasonal and/or senior housing development of up to 32 sites. The $200,000 deal was approved by Council on Nov. 2 by a 6-3 vote but was subsequently scuttled because the resolution did not pass legal muster.
