Rochester man threatens to kill family member in Wayne Co.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 21-year-old Rochester man on a warrant charging him with second-degree aggravated harassment and aggravated family offense.

Deputies say that the warrant was issued following an investigation, which Thomas allegedly threatened the life of a family member by telephone and had been convicted of a specified family offense in the last five years — compounding the crime.

Thomas was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He’s scheduled to answer the charges at a later date.
