The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office reports that on December 2nd at 6:15 pm deputies were called to an unnamed address in Danby for a domestic incident.
The victim reported that Russell T. Gochenaur, 49, of Danby entered her property and drove a vehicle out of the driveway, all while a full stay away order of protection existed preventing him from coming to the property.
On Monday, Gochenaur turned himself in and was charged with second-degree criminal contempt. Gochenaur was arraigned in Ithaca Town Court and was released on his own recognizance. He will answer the charge in Danby Court on December 6th.
