The Waterloo Police Department reports the arrest of James W. Rogers, 47, of Waterloo on an indictment warrant for two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, as well as fourth-degree criminal mischief.
The charges stem from an incident where Rogers is accused of breaking out a car window and stealing a purse, which contained a debit card — and then withdrawing money from the account associated with that debit card.
He was also arrested on December 1st on a warrant for petit larceny and trespass. These charges stem from an incident in March of this year where he allegedly stole approximately $75 worth of scrap metal from a property where a volunteer organization was rehabilitating a home.
Rogers will answer those charges on December 7th.
