One person is dead after a fatal accident in Wayne County this weekend.
State Police say the accident happened on Saturday around 1:36 am. When police arrived to Wolcott Road in the Town of Rose, they found a man inside a vehicle unresponsive. Police say the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, went off the road, and into an embankment off the side of the road. The force of the accident caused the vehicle to flip, partially ejecting the driver.
The driver was identified as Steven Sehm, 27, of North Rose. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and his was the only one involved in the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The accident remains under investigation.
