The Yates County Legislature announced that they would be holding a special meeting on November 30th to consider three items.
The legislature will set a date for the year-end public meeting, which most public boards hold to conduct end of year business before the transition into the next legislative year. They will also appoint June Pendelton to the Fish and Wildlife Management Board, as a landowner. That board has at least one representative that is a non-elected land owner in the county. The legislature will also appoint an individual to District No. 1, which is currently vacant.
