Shooter pleads guilty to attempted assault for incident at Cayuga Nation-owned house

One of four people arrested over the highly publicized shooting and arson at a Cayuga Nation-owned house last year took a plea deal Monday in Seneca County Court.

Marcus Redeye, 19, of Salamanca, Cattaraugus County, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of attempted second-degree assault. He is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 14 to five years of probation and up to six months in jail.
