After 130 years, the state’s Seed Testing Laboratory at the New York Agricultural Experiment Station in the city will be moving to Albany. But the Ag Station’s leader said the Geneva site won’t be going away. “We will still have seed research at the station,” said station Director Susan Brown, noting that most of the lab’s small group of workers will be retained.
