Manchester man caught driving with 8 license suspensions, expired registration

A 36-year-old Manchester man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after after attempting to attend a victim impact panel event, which was being held at the Ontario County Safety Training Facility.

Steven A. Greene, 36, of Manchester was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first and second degrees, and having an expired registration.

Greene was stopped for having an expired registration, which resulted in deputies learning that he had eight active suspensions on his license. One of those suspensions was for a driving while ability impaired conviction.

Due to the previous conviction — this most-recent charge was a felony. He will answer the charges at a later date in Hopewell Town Court.
