Ovid man charged after domestic, turns into road rage incident

A domestic incident, which led to a road rage incident described by deputies in Seneca County resulted in the arrest of an Ovid man over the weekend.

Deputies say that Scott D. Mosher, 45, of Ovid was charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree after a domestic incident that occurred at a residence in the Town of Ovid on November 8th around 6:30 pm.

Mosher allegedly followed three minors in his 2011 GMC truck on Wyers Point Road and north on State Route 89 while recklessly driving and taking evasive action to overtake the second vehicle — which contained three minors.

Mosher was arrested and charged on the reckless endangerment charge, as well as two counts of failure to keep right and two counts of failure to dim high beams.

He was arraigned in Ovid Town Court and released. He will answer the charges on November 15th at 10:00 am.
