An Ithaca man was sentenced on Thursday in Tompkins County Court to 60 days in county jail with a three year probation period after records show he assaulted a woman, violating an order of protection. Demaija Stewart, 37, had been issued an order of protection against his ex-girlfriend in May 2015, which was due to expire in November 2015.
