The story begins much like many in the industry: a passion for beer and the process of making it. Founded in 2013 by Derric and Kristen Slocum in the small Erie Canal village of Weedsport. LCBC is Cayuga County’s first licensed brewery since prohibition. The doors opened to the public with a soft opening on Sept. 27, 2016, and with an official opening to the public the following weekend.
