Woman pleads guilty in Skaneateles boating accident that severely injured stepdaughter

A woman from Cortland County has admitted to several charges in a Skaneateles boating accident that severely injured her 8-year-old stepdaughter this summer. On July 6, Jamie Wheeler, 33, of Homer, was operating a 17-foot Bayliner on Skaneateles Lake July 6 when the boat’s propeller struck her husband, 32-year-old Christopher Driscoll, and stepdaughter, Kaelynne Driscoll.
