Behind a strong second-half effort, Notre Dame handed the Syracuse football team a 50-33 defeat on Saturday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. With the loss, Syracuse owns a 2-3 overall record on the 2016 campaign.
Syracuse was within six points at the end of the first half, but was outscored, 20-6, in the final 30 minutes of action en route to its third loss of the year.
