Pair arrested after incident involving 8-year-old at Victor elementary school

Deputies in Ontario County report that Leslie and Crystal Dinsmore, of Ontario and Rochester respectively, were arrested on Thursday at approximately 8:26 pm.

The arrest took place at the Victor Primary School located at 953 High Street in the Village of Victor — and the pair was charged with three counts each of endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies say the arrest resulted from an altercation that involved both suspects — as well as the father of an 8-year-old outside of the school. Both are accused of acting in a manner likely to be injurious to a child under the age of seventeen, according to deputies.

Appearance tickets were issued and the pair will answer the charges at a later date in Victor Town Court. No children were injured, according to authorities.
