Arrest made in Geneva burglary; Suspect wanted in 2 states

On Thursday morning at  11:00 am, Hector Javier Fernandez, age 48 of Angelo Street in Geneva, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen property in the 5th Degree. Fernandez was charged in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on Angelo Street in the City of Geneva on September 16th.

The suspect was living with his family in a travel trailer at the rear of a residence on Angelo Street. Upon arrest it was learned that the arrested suspect is a fugitive from justice in NYC (Felony Grand Larceny) & Meriden, CT (Possession & Attempt Sale of a Criminal Substance).

After facing charges in the City of Geneva, the suspect will be turned over to NYC and then Connecticut Authorities. He is currently being held on no bail.
